Towards
the end of 2002, Dean Anthony Kronman formed a committee to investigate and
report on racial dynamics at Yale Law School. While the formation of this
committee grew out of an incident that occurred in the student lounge just
before Thanksgiving break in 2002, the committee was not asked to investigate
this incident itself. Rather our charge was to collect information about the
state of racial dynamics in the larger Yale Law School community and, if
appropriate, to make recommendations for change.
