IDEALaw is a conference about ideals, ideas, and law. It is held at Dalhousie Law School in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and brings people together to share ideas about how to make the law more just. It covers a number of issues ranging from activism, gender/sexuality, poverty, community development and the environment.

Working in the Public Interest Conference (WIPI): Challenging Poverty Through Law
Entirely student organized, WIPI seeks to bring together practitioners, students, and faculty to discuss practical approaches to lawyering which can best serve the poor. This conference seeks to provide dynamic, creative ways to combat poverty through the vehicle of the law. WIPI takes place at the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, GA.
e-Democracy: Democratic Values in a Digital Age
The spring symposium of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. The symposium will consist of three panels devoted to the scholarly discussion of the use of the Internet with respect to political campaigns, the electoral outcomes of utilizing new technologies, as well as recent changes in the mechanics of voting and the impact of diverse ballot collection methods. Panel topics will include: "Campaigning on the Web," "The Mechanics of Voting," and "Political Speech & the Internet."
