Katherine Franke

(photo) Katherine Franke is a Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Center for the Study of Law and Culture at Columbia Law School in New York City. Her research has focused on gender and racial equality and well as the regulation of sexuality in domestic, transnational and international contexts. Most recently she has been working in Afghanistan on the rights of women as well as on curricular reform at Kabul University Law School.
