Finding Yale Law School

Coming from I-95 or I-91

If using I-95, make your way to Connecticut Exit 48 and take I-91 North toward New Haven.

Exit off I-91 at Exit 3, Trumbull Street. Go straight at the bottom of the ramp (your first light) and continue through three more stoplights.

At your fourth light, Trumbull Street more or less ends; make a LEFT at this light onto Prospect Street.

Make your first RIGHT at the light onto Grove Street.

Make your first LEFT onto High Street (the Law School building is now to your right).

Make your first RIGHT onto Wall Street. The front entrance to the Law School is on your right hand side.

Parking in New Haven

Parking in New Haven is a drag. There are many commercial lots available but none in reasonably close proximity to the Law School.

After 4:00 p.m. on Friday, and all day Saturday, free parking is available in the Law School parking lot. Follow the directions above to Grove Street, but instead of turning left onto high street, continue to the first light and make a RIGHT onto Ashmun (also called York) Street. The entrance to the parking lot is a block and a half up on your left (across from the end of the cemetery).

More information on getting to Yale and finding public transportation is available at the following website: http://www.yale.edu/newhaven/maps.html.
