Travel By Air

If you are traveling by air, you have two options:

You can fly into Bradley International Airport in Hartford. Private transportation from Bradley Airport to Yale is available from Connecticut Limo and Prime Time Shuttle. Rental car services are also available at Bradley.

Or you can fly into Tweed New Haven Airport. US Airways offers four daily flights from Tweed through its hub in Philadelphia, linking to numerous destinations. Tweed Airport is located approximately 15 minutes from the Yale campus. A taxi ride to/from Tweed should cost under $10.

Travel By Train

The New Haven train station is located downtown, near central campus (approximately a $5 taxi ride). The station is serviced by Amtrak and by Metro North commuter rail. Metro North is by far the cheapest option for train travel between New Haven and New York.
